He lives in Palencia (Spain).
In 1995, he graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. Since 1998, he has been teaching drawing in secondary schools in Castile and León; since 2021, he has also been teaching the University of León's summer course “Biologic-art” on the intersections between art and biology.

Based on a residency of almost a decade in the town of Guardo in Palencia, his artistic practice focuses on the processes of extinction, combining anthropology, ecology, and biology.

In 2016, he received a production grant from MUSAC's Laboratorio 987 and in 2021, he was awarded an artistic creation grant from the Castilla y León Foundation.

His work has been exhibited in art galleries such as Luis Adelantado (Valencia), independent venues such as CRUCE. Arte y Pensamiento (Madrid), and Espacio Tangente (Burgos), and museums such as MUSAC (León), the Díaz-Caneja Foundation, the Barcelona Science Museum, and the Spanish Academy in Rome, among other places.

He has also collaborated in programs, workshops, and forums such as Cultura y Ciudadanía (Culture and Citizenship) and Cultura y Ruralidades (Culture and Ruralities), both organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Cerezales Antonino y Cinia Foundation (León), and the MACBA independent studies program (Barcelona).

His work has been studied by Raquel Gonzalez Rodelgo in her Doctoral Thesis at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, UAM about “Ruins in Contemporary Spanish Art”, together with other artist´s works. In 2024, a first specific publication -When insects resurrect- is released by Fundación Díaz Caneja.
